A Little About The Cerrig Show

The Cerrig Show

The first Cerrig Show was held in 1873 and it is a well known event in the local community.

To celebrate our history, there are displays of vintage tractors and other local memorabilia, making a visit to the Cerrig Show an educational experience.

The Cerrig show is held the first Saturday in September, why not join us this year!

A Day Out For The Family

The Cerrig Show is a community event with a great atmosphere and many things to see and do. Some of our local businesses set up stalls. Food and drink is available on the show field.

You are sure to find something for everyone.

Variety of Events

We have a variety of events available for entry, from fruit and veg produce, to cake baking and flowers.

These events take place in our indoor Home Produce tent and are well worth a look.

Tent events tend to be more popular on very hot or rainy days!

Equestrian Events

There will be many equestrian events throughout the day including ridden classes and even fancy dress!

The gymkana is a family favourite, where horses and riders of any age compete against each other in games such as bending poles and gallop races and is well worth coming to watch.

The Cerrig Show is always eager to improve their carbon footprint and in this endeavour, we have chosen a web designer who operates sustainable web design practices.
